For 2025 Subaru is giving the new Forester their popular "Wilderness" treatment which includes lower ratios, more protection, all-terrain tires, more ground clearance, a brawnier roof rack and updated styling. What doesn’t it have? The 2.4L turbo from the Outback Wilderness. (Sad trombone) While this Forester won’t get more power, I suspect the more balanced approach will attract more shoppers, especially those looking for something more rugged than the average Honda or Toyota.
