The creator of mBlip.com proudly presents an autoblog devoted to the topic of Electric Vehicles.

I’m an EV enthusiast and like to make nifty little websites. If you liked my other site, mBlip, and you like EV’s, I think you’re gonna love EVsoup. (My stat tracker seems to think you do too!)

As an autoblog, EVsoup checks EV-centric YouTubers for new stuff at various intervals throughout the day. That way you can find all the EV stuff in one convenient place!

Please keep in mind, EVsoup has no affiliations with the video makers and is not responsible for their content. Some of them also cover conventional internal combustion vehicles as well, so not everything on here is EV related.

Just so you know, this site is one of my passion projects., and I’m here for you. Got any suggestions to improve this website? Is there a YouTuber that should be added, reclassified, or removed? Feel free to reach out to me at flush2x@gmail.com, or just leave a comment anywhere commenting is available on this website.

Hello Friends,

Are you looking for quality YouTube videos about electric vehicles?? Me too! That is why I created EVsoup. Basically EVsoup follows various YouTube channels that primarily cover the topic of EV’s. EVsoup regularly and automatically checks for new videos and embeds them so that you can watch them here.

“Couldn’t you just… you know… use YouTube?”

Well, yes, and I often do. The problem with YouTube is how the algorithm funnels you into wasting your time on videos not worth watching. Sometimes it even tries to lead you down a disinformation rabbit hole. EVsoup is checking for new videos from high quality content creators who care about EV’s. When you visit EVsoup, you will see those videos listed with the newest videos first and no annoying notifications.

“So who is EVsoup targeted at?”

I made EVsoup for myself as well as other EV enthusiasts… but mainly for myself. If you like it, then great! I’m happy you like it too.

“Wait a second… What about copyrights? How can this be legal?”

EVsoup is absolutely 100% legal. Although constantly updating, YouTube’s terms of service are on generally on EVsoup’s side. No one is exploiting any “loopholes” or doing anything shady. YouTube content providers agree to those terms, and they have the option to prevent embedded videos from playing their content on sites other than YouTube. Everything is legit.

Did you get a haircut? You look different!

Thanks for noticing. Yeah, EVsoup and all my other sites got a huge facelift. The layout designs are my own, but I used ChatGPT to handle all the coding. I’m probably going to be making all my themes and plugins available to the public at some point because I think we’ve created some really cool stuff.

Do you want to help out? Tell me about an EV-centric YouTuber that I haven’t listed yet!

I am always looking for channel suggestions! If you have a favorite YouTube channel that regularly presents decent content on the subject of electric vehicles, please drop me an email. My email address is flush2x@gmail.com.

Keep in mind that in some rare cases, a channel may not be able to be added because they block embedding or use other tricks to thwart EVsoup’s feed parser.

This is not a business!

While I love to hear from my visitors, please do not contact me for commercial purposes. I don’t need SEO optimizing, guest content, or advertisers. I cannot insert content manually either. Let me be clear: There is no money here. This site is not a business, and I do not have “customers”. The content posting system is automated, and unless you have a YouTube channel that features EV related videos, I have no interest in adding your material to my site.

“Hey, where did that video that used to be here go?”

EVsoup is not intended to be an archive and the older videos may occasionally be purged. While I am not going to do anything to stop anyone, I don’t recommend linking to the posts on EVsoup, because whenever I need to reset the site, anything older than the last 15 videos on a YouTuber’s channel will be gone. Instead, I recommend linking to the actual YouTube page.

So what’s the connection with mBlip?

I own and operate both. EVsoup is the younger sibling to mBlip. The obvious difference is that EVsoup is focused EV’s, while mBlip is more focused on generalized “edutainment”. I could have kept it all under one roof, but EV channels would have dominated the content and it would therefore have complicated the taxonomy structure.

And funnily enough, EVsoup actually gets a lot more visitors than mBlip. I just thought that was really interesting.

I also wanted to mention that just like mBlip, EVsoup.com never accepts donations, nor will EVsoup seek any revenue through advertising. Sponsorships placed in the videos and the video descriptions are those of the video makers and do not financially benefit or enrich EVsoup in any way. Visitor info will never be sold by EVsoup, and there is no interest in making money with this site or improving its search engine ranking. This site is a personal hobby, not a business.

Who are you? What’s your thing with EV’s?

I’m just a guy in Dayton. For me personally, I think EV’s are the future of the automotive industry. My love of electric vehicles has nothing to do with environmentalism per se, but rather the belief that internal combustion is old and antiquated, much like the horse drawn carriage and millstone collars.

Electricity is a versatile power source, and while people often complain about being reliant on imports, electricity, at least in the US, is home grown. Think about it: British Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell… These aren’t American! Not to mention all the oil that comes from OPEC or Venezuela. You’re driving on molecules that came from foreign entities, or worse, they might even fund terrorism. Coal, natural gas, wind, solar, hydro, and nuclear are all made right here at home.

And while EV’s aren’t cheaper to buy, they do have fewer maintenance requirements and charging at home is far less expensive than gasoline. Pay more up front. Save down the road.

They’re not as green as they say they are!

Sure, whatever. I don’t care.

Contact?

Sure. I’d love to hear from you, and know what you think about this site. I’ve already mentioned it above, but in case you missed it, my email address is flush2x@gmail.com, and  please: No Solicitors.
