Corsa GSE – small hatch is bonkers

From AutoEV.

Charlie gets his FIRST VERDICT on the all-new Vauxhall Corsa GSE, and this isn’t simply a Corsa Electric with a bigger motor and a GSE badge.
With 281PS, 345Nm and 0–62mph in just 5.5 seconds, the Corsa GSE is the fastest-accelerating Vauxhall ever. But the really interesting stuff is underneath: a Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential, Alcon four-piston brakes, wider tracks, uprated suspension, faster steering and a Nürburgring-developed chassis.

And there’s another big number: £32,995 after the UK Electric Car Grant.
So, has Vauxhall managed to turn an electric supermini into a genuinely entertaining hot hatch — or is it just another very fast EV?

Charlie takes a first look at the performance, styling, interior, driving experience, practicality and value, and asks whether the Corsa GSE can live up to the legendary Nova GTE, GSi and Corsa VXR heritage.

Corsa GSE key facts:
• 281PS / 345Nm
• 0–62mph: 5.5 seconds
