Cybertruck Owners Frequently Charging At Superchargers Show as Much as 5% Cell Degradation in Months

From Torque News.

Hey Tesla Cybertruck owners! Are you worried about getting the most out of your battery? This video dives deep into a recent study that shows Cybertruck owners who frequently use Superchargers experience significant battery degradation – up to 5% in just a few months. That’s 30 times faster than degradation for those who charge at home. We’ll explore the reasons behind this, what it means for your truck’s long-term health, and how you can maximize your battery life. So whether you’re a new Cybertruck owner or a seasoned EV driver, this video is a must-watch.

So in this video I cover Tesla Cybertruck’s battery degradation while mostly using the Superchargers vs charging at home.

These numbers were shared on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum after Kyle, a Cybertruck owner from San Jose, California, inquired about everyone’s battery health.

Kyle asked fellow Cybertruck owners in the group to share their battery degradation, eliciting several responses.

Here is what Kyle wrote…

“Curious, what’s your battery degradation? I lost 3% in 10 months of driving my Cybertruck (15,000 miles). Post yours below.”

In response, several Cybertruck owners shared how much battery capacity their vehicles lost over the past few months.
