From Mach-E VLOG.

Eaton has been around for over 100 years and now they are ready for the future with electric vehicles. We visited their booth at CES 2024 in Las Vegas to learn about some of their EV related tech.

One of the exciting products they announced was a new EVSE (EV charger) that includes innovative & unique smart breaker. They also have charging solutions for fleet customers that utilize a busbar that maximizes flexibility and expansion capabilities.

In addition to charging, Eaton also makes components that go in EVs. One of the more exciting products is a High Voltage Battery Disconnect. This enables EVs to forego the use of pyro fuse disconnects that have to be replaced any time there is a failure. With the Eaton system, the EV can reset the disconnect after it has been deemed safe to do so.
