Ford was the first company to announce their transition to NACS (J3400), and they were the first to start shipping NACS to CCS adapters so that existing Ford EVs could charge at V3 and V4 Superchargers. But does that "fix" the problem? Well, yes and no. The Fords won’t charge faster at a Tesla station, but they do seem to charge more reliably. Also, Tesla stations are better located along highways for road tripping and the stations are usually larger and better maintained.
On the downside, unless you’re at a V4 station like I was, the cables will be too short, the on-board NAV for some reason doesn’t recommend Tesla stops when you enter a route in, and good luck getting your hands on Ford’s adapter… But there are alternatives…
