GM Just CONFUSED Everyone About Apple CarPlay… AGAIN

From The EV Geek.

GM is making cheaper EV batteries, Bentley just unveiled an absolutely ridiculous electric SUV, and GM’s Apple CarPlay situation is somehow even more confusing than it was last week.

In today’s episode of The Friday Charge, we cover:

GM Is Making Cheaper Batteries
GM is now putting recycled battery materials back into new EV batteries. The company says it can recover up to 95% of the nickel, cobalt and manganese — and 80% of the lithium — from old battery packs. And these recycled-material batteries are already being installed in customer vehicles.

There’s an Electric Bentley
Bentley has finally unveiled its first EV, the Torcal, with up to 876 horsepower, a 2.8-second 0–60, an 800V battery, 400kW charging and a whole lot of luxury. And yes… it has a 100% Merino wool interior.

GM’s CarPlay Situation Gets Complicated Again
After last week’s news seemed to suggest Apple CarPlay and Android Auto could be returning to more GM vehicles, GM has now clarified that its comments were not intended to signal a return to EVs. So what exactly is happening?
