We’re extremely excited to announce that we will now be building NEW electric classic cars under our brand ‘Thor’. In this episode we unveil our first car under this brand and our collaboration with our partner ‘Sebring Works’.
We have been working with Sebring Works behind the scenes now for some time, supplying them with EV drivetrain solutions for their Speedster and are extremely excited to take this relationship to the next level with this collaboration to create the worlds first electric ‘hyperclassic’.
Our first car, called the Rebel, is inspired by Carrol Shelby, the grandfather of the resto-modding scene when he melded an AC Ace with a Ford V8 to create the AC Cobra back in the 1960s. The Thor Rebel is following in the inspirational footsteps of Carrol but using the very latest cutting edge 21st century technology. The new chassis, coupled with the multi-link suspension, EV powertrain and optimal weight distribution will mean the Rebel will handle as good as it looks. It also features semi-active suspension, traction control, limited slip differential and customisable track mode, which enables the Rebel to have some serious fun both on and off the track.
