Jaguar F-Pace SVR review

You could say the new ‘75’ models are just special edition F-Types and nothing more. But there’s something far more romantic going on here as

Jaguar is pulling on every petrolhead’s heartstrings with the F-Type P450 75 and F-Type R 75, for they represent the final iteration of the F-Type sports car. Jag’s gorgeous two-seater will be killed off in 2024 to make way for the brand’s reinvention as a pure-electric carmaker in 2025.

The F-Type’s death closes a chapter on Jaguar’s illustrious sports car-making business that started with the XK120 75 years ago in 1948, and has included Le Mans-winning C- and D-types, and of course the epochal E-type of 1961.

I have long been a fan of the F-Type. I remember driving one a couple of months after it launched in 2013, and through my job as a motoring journalist I have driven many over the years. It holds a special place in my heart.

I was invited to drive the 75 editions in 2023 – a special moment for me. Here’s my last drive in the Jaguar F-Type – I hope you enjoy it.
