Nissan’s Armada and Patrol have often lived in the shadow of Toyota’s Land Cruiser, which is shame since the Nissan and it’s Infiniti cousin regularly outsell the Toyota competition. For 2025 the Armada gets most of the same updates as the QX80 we recently drove with a few conspicuous changes. Most notably: the Armada gets a more capable 4WD system and it’s twin-turbo V6 is tuned for regular unleaded, no premium required. If you want something more rugged, there’s also a Pro-4X version for you now. Sadly, it doesn’t look like the Patrol will get a diesel….
