Fresh figures show that 917 new Teslas were registered in February, according to the Norwegian Road Traffic Information Council (OFV). That’s a decrease from 1,778 in the same month last year. The decrease corresponds to 48 percent, which is a sharp drop. No one knows how the situation for Tesla will develop. Presumably, the new Model Y that many have been waiting for will contribute to a new upswing for the brand, says Director Øyvind Thorsen of OFV in a message.

The plunge in Tesla electric vehicle sales has continued into February, according to the latest official data, with combined sales of the Model Y and Model 3 EVs plunging 71.9 per cent in February, compared to the same month a year earlier.
