Then check out the 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70. Silly name I know, so let’s just call it the GV70 EV. The GV70 EV is quite logically the EV version of the GV70, but Genesis did more than simply swap a motor in, they completely redesigned the GV70 under the skin so this is no cheesy EV swap like, say a Mini EV. The result is that the GV70 has about the same range as the dedicated EV platform GV60, similar performance, fast charging speeds, the same V2L functionality, etc but it’s wrapped in the long hood profile common to luxury CUVs. The only bummer? No front trunk.
