Automakers have a nasty habit of not making their work-oriented vehicles available for journalists to try – and for the most part, automakers send us review vehicles that are as high-spec as possible.
Which is why, last year, when we learned the Chevrolet Silverado EV WT wasn’t on Chevrolet’s press fleet, we managed to hire one to carry out a quick drive while visiting Southern California.
