Mooresville, North Carolina is redefining "fast track," and is named as the fastest growing affordable suburb in the United States. This Lake Norman sleepy town has just been crowned the fastest-growing suburb in the US for budget-minded homebuyers.

That’s right, Mooresville is booming! A recent GoBankingRates.com study revealed a near 30% population explosion between 2020 and 2022, with the town’s population surging past 50,000.

But the real kicker? Affordability. While the population skyrocketed, the median home price in Mooresville stayed pleasantly down-to-earth, clocking in at $480,430 as of July. This attractive price tag landed Mooresville the number one spot on GoBankingRates.com’s list of "rising suburbs" with affordable housing.
