There are lots of reasons why it makes sense to protect your gorgeous new car. Rock chips, UV Rays, Insect Acidity, Bird Droppings etc. If you are looking to protect your investment, there are lots of good solutions in the market to help you with your goal. Just be careful when choosing your partner to do the preservation work before you invest thousands of dollars more than you just spent for your car. If you are looking to change the color of your car, PPF offers some awesome choices and solutions, In my case, I love the Ultra Red color of my new Model X and I tend to not keep cars very long. So the return on my investment would not be good. Plus, it’s my observation that when you go to trade in the car, the dealer or buyer will generally not pay you extra for the value you put in to protect the car. However, if you plan on keeping your car for a long time and want to keep it very well protected, I do believe there are good products on the market. Just be careful, avoid dealerships as they tend to overcharge and underdeliver (not in all cases but it’s my experience that this is the case most times).
