What is a Lightship? The AE.1 travel trailer is equipped with up to 77kWh of battery and can carry its own load with an onboard electric drive unit. It can fold down to a lower profile for better aerodynamics allowing for about 300 miles of near-zero range loss when towed behind any gas or electric truck. It collects energy from the sun via rooftop solar and it can act as a home backup system when owners aren’t camping.
