Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and soon, the Next Generation Car!

What a busy day at Giga Texas today on a gorgeous day to fly! Perfect skies, temperatures & wind conditions allowed me to capture some detailed views of multiple major developments around the site today! Based on all the news coming out with Elon co-leading the DOGE, I guess it makes sense it’s so busy here!

Here are some highlights!

Paving underway at the west Giga Texas Outbound lot … this is significant because crews are making the asphalt roads that lead from the Boring Company tunnel and to the W End-of-Line facility for new vehicle processing & the outbound lot for shipping!

For those interested in added production capacity at Giga Texas for a huge 2025 including new vehicles & the Cybercab, then seeing deliveries of equipment like this should be exciting! There is a growing amount of new production equipment being stockpiled for installation soon!

Giga Texas electrical system upgrades continue to power the Cortex Supercomputer data center, & we see crews getting an area near the switchyard graded. This may be for some of the 200+ transformers stored on site or, possibly more Megapacks. A new contractor trailer near the existing Megapack is an interesting addition!

Giga Texas Supercharger upgrades continue on the south end of the west End-of-Line facility. These look like V4s but some viewers think that is not true. I have provided some high-resolution video of this installation and replacement process, so you can decide for yourself. In any case, this is part of some nice infrastructure upgrades going in all over the site!

Giga Texas DIE shop is getting new construction inside the facility, adding additional capacity. We can see a large internal plastic wall separating the in-operation section from the construction area. I’ve noted several large deliveries here in recent weeks too! What do you think is being installed?

The Boring Company crews are getting the west tunnel exit ready to bring Cybertrucks through from the factory & under the highway! Road paving underway today & nicely cleaned up & marked new natural gas pipe site nearby too! Looking closer to completion!

I also know there continues to be progress on the tunnel entrance inside the south Giga Texas extension with the alternate roadway getting ready for paving. This leads out to the west side & serves as an alternate exit in case the tunnel is out of service!
