2024/2025 Fiat 500e Review | Why Didn’t Fiat Bring Literally Anything Else To America?

From Alex on Autos.

In a vacuum the 500e sounds like a pragmatist’s dream: it’s efficient, easy to park, has enough range for 99% of your daily driving and consumed less than half of the battery resources that many EVs do. So what’s the problem? Well, the price tag isn’t as small as the 500e’s footprint which is clearly an issue, but more importantly than that, the rest of the Fiat lineup exists. From the roomier 600e to Fiat’s mild and full hybrids to the upcoming and gorgeous Grande Panda, I am left wondering: Why didn’t Fiat bring literally anything else to America first? For instance, imagine the 500e with a rag top. Fantastic, right? Guess what! It exists! But… Not for the American market. Whomp-Whomp.
