2025 Subaru Forester Review | Subie Didn’t Reinvent The Wheel, And That’s OK

From Alex on Autos.

When redesigning the Forester it’s clear Subaru had one important thing in mind: don’t screw it up. Surprised? You shouldn’t be, because the Forester is one of their best-selling models and accounts for almost 1/4 of all Subaru sales in America. With that kind of position, gradual change is by far the best policy. On the other hand, if you were hoping the Forester would return to Popemobile levels of greenhouse, XT like levels of power with a WRX drivetrain, or even get some wacky styling… Well, this isn’t that Subaru anymore. Subie’s all grown up and so has their product line which is why we *will* be getting what customers have been begging for for years: a Forester hybrid. Sadly we don’t have any info on that yet, but it should be coming out very very soon…
