While not as bonkers as the EV6 GT, which gets over 640 horsepower for its recent refresh, the EV9 GT packs a serious punch for a 3-row minivan alternative: 501 horsepower and 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Kia says that those numbers may drop as they haven’t fully certified the motors’ output, however. Also on board: the J3400/NACS charging connector! Yep, Kia and Hyundai are going all-in on NACS. On the downside, it doesn’t seem that the EV9 GT gets the bigger battery from the Ioniq 9… Sad trombone…
