2023 has been full of investment in and development of semi-autonomous vehicle technology, mostly level 2 – but with some level 3 capabilities thrown into the mix.
It’s also been a year of broken promises from numerous autonomous vehicle startups, mainstream automakers, and newer companies wanting to revolutionize the way we travel.
So today, we’re giving you a bit of a mass update on our own use of ADAS Level 2 systems (Comma 3 running OPGM), explain what happened at Cruise AI recently, and ask if we’re using semi-autonomous technology all wrong.
