Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and soon, the Next Generation Car!
Busy start to December today with a lot of work on the west side Boring Company tunnel W entrance, 1,000s of castings arranges around the north end and east sides of the factory, and progress with the Bag House filtration plant on the east side of casting.

We also see the Cortex supercomputer datacenter cooling plant with water vapors rising up out of two of the fan units, indicating it is at least partially operational this morning! We know from recent Tesla posts on X that the Cortex datacenter is operational with about 50K to 70K NVIDIA H100s in operation now and this has been instrumental in the recent roll out of the major FSD upgrade V13 software. The Cortex site will continue to grow even larger over the course of 2025.
I was able to film an extended session of testing of the Cybercab around the site today, which may indicate they are adding more and more complex situation to test out new software, validate the sensors and data used by the Cybercabs, and or further developing the CYbercab design. In any case, I enjoyed following along via the drone and watching how thew training went along.
