Tesla has been noticing a lot of competition lately, and one of its crucial competitors is Rivian. Recently, Rivian made a delivery van that was so popular, even Elon Musk couldn’t stay silent. And sure enough, he recently announced a new van from Tesla that could destroy Rivian’s, Delivery Van.

Tesla’s marketing strategy has been nearly flawless in the past. They’ve been easily dominating the entire EV market, and there were no real competitors to Tesla. However, recently, a myriad of new brands appeared, and they actually started to threaten Tesla’s overall profits and popularity. Take the Hummer EV for example, it entered production before the Tesla Cybertruck, which was presented nearly a year before the Humvee. Rivian is also one of the brands that had Tesla beaten at its own game, as they too managed to offer a fully electric pickup truck, the Rivian R1T, before Elon Musk. Oh, and not only that, but Rivian has started making an awful lot of different models in the past year or so, and they’ve actually shown a lot of potentials, as they’ve actually started deliveries on each and every model that they’re currently offering. Tesla has been very keen on making a van that could be used as a cargo and/or people transporter for years now, which was confirmed by Elon Musk in the “Tesla Master Plan Part 2” back in 2016. Well, Tesla has plans for not one, but numerous different van-like vehicles. There are numerous conceptual designs for the new Tesla van yet, so there’s much speculation on what it may look like, however, we think that the overall market will allow Tesla to actually make multiple van-like vehicles.
