We’re often told by people in the comments sections of our videos that electric vehicles aren’t any good for long-distance travel, that electric cars are only for people in urban areas – and that if you live somewhere more remote (or indeed need to travel to more remote areas) you’ll need an alternative vehicle.
The wonderful @harveysoicher2522 would like to politely disagree. He’s been traveling all across Canada and the U.S. in his 2019 Audi e-Tron EV, and as the song from Jonny Cash goes, he’s been _everywhere_.
A keen EV advocate and member of the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association, Harvey caught up with us at Everything Electric to discuss his adventures, explain how he began them in memory of his late wife Mary Ann, and lay out some of his goals for the future.
