I had the privilege of discussing electrification with famed race car driver Collete Davis. Not only did we talk EV’s in racing, we actually got to take a couple laps in her 1,400 hp all electric Mach-E GT 1400.

This prototype 1,400 hp Mach-E was developed specifically for drifting and is part of Ford’s long history of vehicle performance development. Making high performance vehicles on the track translates to better performing vehicles on the road.

As we watch this transition to electrification happen, Ford is investing heavily in racing to lead the charge on and off the track. That all comes topped with countless opportunities to sit behind the wheel of a number of Ford EV’s and try one for yourself!
