One of the reasons Nikki decided to buy a Ford F150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range pickup was so she could run her rural home in a power cut directly from the truck. But ever since her Ford Charge Station Pro and Ford Home Integration System was installed, she’s had mixed results when it comes to power cuts… and the system had never organically switched over in a power cut.

After more than a year however, after a quick service visit replaced the internals in the original Ford Charge Station Pro, the truck and the house are (generally) talking to one another.

The catch? Nikki now needs to park her truck in the most bizarre way possible…
