Honda’s CR-V doubles down on family friendliness, better fuel economy and broader hybrid availability for 2023. Unfortunately though, it didn’t gain any of the "Honda Magic" that some folks had hoped for. There’s no torque vectoring AWD, no high output engine, and if you’re a fan of big screens you might want to check out the refreshed RAV4. On the other hand, the CR-V has a restrained elegance to it that I find attractive.
