Updating the infotainment software in your 2024 Mazda can be done through two methods: using the Mazda Connect system or by downloading the updates manually. As you update the software of your Mazda it automatically finds the necessary update version.

To update using the Mazda Connect system, follow these steps:

Connect your Mazda to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Mazda is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Access the Settings menu: On the home screen of the Mazda Connect system, tap the "Settings" icon.

Check for updates: In the Settings menu, select "System" and then tap "Software Updates." The system will check for available updates.

Install available updates: If updates are available, the system will prompt you to install them. Tap "Install" to begin the update process.

Wait for the update to complete: The update process may take a few minutes. Do not turn off the vehicle or interrupt the update process.

Once the update is complete, the system will restart, and you will be running the latest infotainment software version.

If you prefer to download the updates manually, follow these steps:

Download the Mazda Update Toolbox: Visit the Mazda website and download the Mazda Update Toolbox software for your computer.

Create a Mazda account: If you don’t already have a Mazda account, create one using your email address and password.

Connect your Mazda to your computer: Connect your Mazda to your computer using a USB cable.

Launch the Mazda Update Toolbox: Open the Mazda Update Toolbox software on your computer.

Select your vehicle: In the Mazda Update Toolbox, select your vehicle model and year.

Check for updates: The software will check for available updates.
