M’s Chevrolet Volt Died – Here’s What Happened Next.

M (Michael), our Director of Photography, has been driving a 2012 Chevrolet Volt since shortly before joining the company back in 2021.

But in the last year, it’s been increasingly problematic, suffering complex faults until a few months ago, when it threw so many errors it was becoming unsafe and impractical to drive. What’s worse, the dealership quoted $6,500 to fix what essentially was a very cheap component stuck inside a very expensive battery pack. A repair bill which, when there was still $10,500 owing on the car, seemed impossible to manage.

Thankfully though, there’s a happy ending, helped by some truly incredible and generous people.
