From Andrew Till / Mr. EV
.
The most convenient chargers are surely the ones in places you already park your car. One of the largest supermarkets in the UK, Sainsbury’s, has decided to go big or go home. Their Smart Charge EV hubs are appearing quickly across their stores giving their customers a convenient place to charge with fast, reliable, accessible chargers.
I talk to Product Director, Richard Hackforth-Jones, about Smart Charge: why Sainsbury’s did it, what’s coming, juicy details about building hubs, and we obsess over Kempower chargers. I also ask the million dollar (well, million pound) question: why is public charging so expensive in the UK?
