Looking for something more fun than a Passport or Outback? Want an X5 for less? Think Jeep’s Grand Cherokee is too much? Well, there’s a sexy new Mazda for you! The new 2025 Mazda CX-70 is all you’d imagine from a cropped version of the CX-90. Like the CX-90m the CX-70 is RWD based (but AWD standard) with Mazda’s new inline 6 engines under the hood and an available plug in hybrid.
About that cropping: Mazda won’t comment on whether the CX-70 is *actually shorter* than the CX-90. So, I could be crazy in thinking that the proportions are better because it’s possible this is just a 90 without the third row. Hopefully we will know more soon.
