The 2026 Passport is the most rugged off-road SUV Honda has ever built… (Remember, Isuzu built the first gen Passport..) What’s new for 2026? Well, everything. Basically they started off with the new Honda Pilot’s basic chassis, engine, transmission, AWD and… changed everything else. Honda claims that so much has changed in fact that they hesitate to even say that it is "based on" a Honda Pilot. The changes were needed to allow for 31-inch tires, twin spares, rock sliders, skid plates, and the boxier nose of course.
