From Transport Evolved.
Back in late 2022 we had a chance to drive GM’s first all-electric pickup truck to be built on the Ultium platform: the Hummer EV pickup truck.
We weren’t… all that impressed, and since then, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the chance to drive other GM EV pickups built on the same platform.
But for various… reasons… we haven’t had a chance to yet. Until we realized during a trip last week that we could hire one from the local Hertz rental location.
So we did. And here’s our impressions of the Silverado EV WT – the work-oriented version of the Chevrolet Silverado EV (and the one that GM isn’t too keen on journalists driving).
