The Canyon and Colorado twins are certainly gunning for Toyota’s Tundra in their latest generation, especially the profitable TRD and upcoming Trailhunter models. From Chevy we get the ZR2 and from GMC we get the AT4X as the pinnacle of their mid-size truck line. (not including the special editions, of course). The main reasons to get the GMC over the new Tundra? Power and a locker. The 2.7L turbo engine is notably more powerful than the Toyota 2.4L and Toyota is still refusing to give us a front locker, something you’ll find in an increasing number of trucks in America…
