Toyota’s iconic Land Cruiser goes in a different direction for 2024, well, for N. America at least. Instead of growing like the last few generations did, the new Land Cruiser on our shores will likely be what the rest of the world will know as the Land Cruiser Prado. Dimensionality this model is closer to the 1990 80 Series than the last Land Cruiser sold in the USA. That means it’ll be easier park and better off road as well. Toyota also intends this Land Cruiser to be more affordable with a starting price "in the mid 50s" which is a big departure from the last version. The base version even gets cloth seats! Also a major change? Toyota’s new 2.4L turbocharged hybrid system will be standard on all models.
