One of the talking points that seems remarkably persistent is that in the event of a massive EMP, either as a result of a natural disaster or because of a terrorist attack, would lead to electric vehicles being disabled… But that gasoline and diesel vehicles would be just fine.

Kate looks into what the reality is behind that idea, and whether EVs owners really would be worse off in the event of an EMP large enough to disable their automobiles.
