For this fathers day, I asked my son Kyle Conner to join me on my channel to discuss the very interesting developments that are going on in the charging world. Ever since both Jim Farley from Ford, and Mary Barra from GM announced their partnership with Tesla effectively throwing in the towel on CCS and fully backing the NACS North American Charging Standard, I am having trouble keeping up with additional developments and commentary about all this I keep hearing about. With so much happening seemingly every day in terms of partnerships, rumors, strategic direction that the industry is going, I have so many questions swirling around in my head. So I decided to ask Kyle in this unscripted video to help me understand and make sense of it all and listen to his perspectives. In the end, I learned a ton during this 1 and 20 minute long chat and for sure will be watching this video again and again as it is jammed pack with information that really helped me understand the current state of play, as well as help make sense of what seems to be rapidly developing efforts all mean. Kyle really taught me a lot in this video, and I hope my sharing this video with all of you can help you too.
