Here is an update on our ordered Model Y we placed back in April. Still no VIN, and I have definitively found out today from Tesla that it is due to the Austin factory not making any Model Y’s with White seats. The earliest we can expect to receive a VIN is mid July. Meanwhile, our trade in value just faded by $3,200 on our Genesis GV60 Performance. Also in this episode, I discuss the re-instatement of the Model 3 RWD LFP car to the full $7,500 Federal Tax credit that since 4/18 has been only $3,750. In states with no sales tax on EV’s such as NJ coupled with strong state rebates, this can mean that you can buy a brand new Model 3 RWD for under $30K!!! That my friends is an insane deal! I also discuss the new Model 3 Project Highland car, and am super hopeful they will be bringing that car out with new colors!
