Looking for a jumbo-sized Outback? That’d be the 2023 Subaru Ascent. With seating for 7 or 8, room for a roof tent and more cargo space than a Highlander, the Ascent is the go-anywhere SUV for outdoorsy folks… As long as you don’t really "off road" because for that you’d want a 2-speed transfer case and lockers, neither of which is found in the super-sized Subie.
