HOURS AGO we learned that on August 14 Tesla is likely to launch the next generation Model 3 electric sedan, known as Project Highland.

"According to online rumors, communication from suspected Tesla staff indicates that the current domestically produced Tesla Model 3 will be discontinued on August 14th. It is reported that the new Tesla Model 3 will be officially put into production in the third quarter," reports Wu Wa on his Twitter account. Wu Wa is a Tesla Giga Shanghai drone operator.

There are other factors that support this report about the next-gen Tesla Model 3 launch date, which I discuss in this video.

For the North American market, Tesla produces the Model 3 out of Fremont factory in California.

Now I am wondering, why the transfer of FSD only includes vehicles delivered by end of september.
