In the last week, a story has hit the headlines detailing how tough it can be to get the Tesla EVs to meet their EPA range – and how Tesla has (allegedly) used special service agents to dissuade customers from making service appointments concerning sub-optimal range.

It would be all-too-easy to point fingers and blame Tesla, or the EPA for poor test data, but honestly, this story is just the tip of the iceberg.

… And it’s more complex than most people think.
