For 2024 the Impreza has gone hatch-only, and that’s OK with me because it gives it more rear seat headroom and a more practical cargo area than any sedan in the category. On top of that, you get standard AWD, the same ground clearance as many small crossovers, and you can finally get Subie’s 2.5L engine under the hood. Want more power and a real trunk? Try the WRX.
