Buick thinks there’s still a place in America for a sedan-like profile and a low sticker price, although I think more folks will be interested in the low MSRP. Starting just over $23,500 including destination, the Envista isn’t just one of the least expensive new vehicles in America, it’s also one of the best. Solid driving dynamics, a quiet cabin, practical hatchback and a surprising amount of interior room make this more interesting (to me at least) than most of the competition whether that’s a Corolla / Corolla hatchback or a Kia Forte or Hyundai Elantra. Just don’t ask where the extra oomph is because 136 ponies is all you get
