These Seven Automakers Are Building A Network With Tesla Compatibility

From Transport Evolved.

The transition away from CCS and toward NACS (North American Charging Standard) in the U.S. and Canada has caused quite a lot of speculation over the future of EV charging.

And on this channel, while we’ve pointed out that the transition to NACS won’t solve every issue ( we’ve also outlined some of the things that are required for such a transition to be smooth (

At the start of this week, we were fairly convinced the news over charging had started to slow down. That was until a new joint partnership between seven large automakers promised to establish a new nationwide charging network that’s larger than Tesla and Electrify America combined (and then some).

More confusion or a good piece of news? Let’s get stuck in.
