This Is The First Electric Ford Explorer! Sadly You Probably Can’t Buy It… | 2024 Euro Explorer EV

From Alex on Autos.

For 2024 Ford is introducing an all-electric Ford Explorer… In Europe. (Sad trombone.) Fear not, Ford has implied we’ll get one eventually in the USA. but it’s probably not going to be this one. Why? Because this Explorer is smaller than you think. It’s a 2-row SUV designed to compete with EVs in Europe like the MG4, ID.3/ID.4 and Ford’s own Mustang Mach E. Yep, it’s not bigger than the Mach and has no third row. It may however give us a window into what we could see in the future. Oh, and although it’s built in a Ford factory in Germany, it is closely related to the VW ID.4, not the Mach E we get in the USA.
