How cheap are we talking? In the UK an MG can be 20-35% less expensive than the comparable Honda, Toyota or Volkswagen. That’s part of the reason MG has seen a meteoric rise in sales over the last 15 years in Britain. Currently the MG4 is the second best selling EV in the UK and actually beats the Model Y at the sales race when you exclude company cars. It’s not all upside however, the cars do feel cheap here and there and the designs? Well let’s just say there is plenty of copy-cat going on.
