USED REVIEW: Peugeot e-2008. The right family electric car for you?

Peugeot has reinvented itself over the past few years. It wasn’t that long ago that if you wrote a cheque for a brand new Peugeot, in exchange you’d receive a car that had flimsy build quality, so-so styling and poor reliability. But it would have been cheap.

One of the cars that has changed the most in a short space of time has been the 2008. Launched in 2020, the crossover-cum-small-SUV sister to the 208 supermini has been a decent seller for Peugeot with its roomy interior and low running costs proving to be a winning combination for families.

Just like the e-208, the e-2008 was launched with a 50kWh battery with 100kW charging capability, which means a range of between 191 and 206 miles (depending on spec) and a zero-to-80% charge taking 30 minutes.

With a new, updated version arriving this year, is the original version a good used buy? Join Nicki as she takes a close look at a used e2008 and highlights its good and bad points. With early versions costing a fraction of what they did new, is now the time to add the e2008 to your wish list?

Do you own a Peugeot e2008 or considering one? Do you like it and what are its best points? As always, we love to read your comments, so let us know what your verdict is below.
