Volkswagen’s ID3 is a popular EV in Europe, but in the USA it’s a forbidden fruit. Volkswagen declined to bring it to the USA and Canada saying it’s too small, so there’s simply no way to drive one.

But could cars like the ID3 help the US transition to cleaner transportation? And should the ID3 make its way to the USA?
